Abstract
The material in this study consists of an analysis of some home activities performed by twenty-five housewives in the district involved. The housewives who are included in this study consist of various groups as to professional status. Some are school teachers, housewives and the greatest number are common labor workers. These housewives' homes are located on pierce, Gray, and Webster Avenues in Houston, Texas. in view of the fact, that many of these housewives are in the professional class, it is interesting to note the differences in home activities performed by various homemakers. This study includes the following activities; 1. House Cleaning and Care. 2. Food and Meal planning. 3. Care of the pre-school child. 4. Laundry.
