Abstract
This Thesis is an effort to present and discuss in succinct form the various problems of the Prairie View State College Chorus, attempting to present the material in such a way as to make it easily understood by the most casual reader and music lover.
All of the material, except that in absolute quote, is written in strictly individualistic and conversational style. This material presented is not the results of scientific research, but it has been presented as a result of my actual experience and participation in the Prairie View State College Chorus for four years (specifically this year).
It is hoped that this work will bring aid, suggestion, and stimulus to workers in the field of choral music. The writing of it has afforded pleasurable enjoyment for the "spare hours" of my school life for a period of four (4) months. May its perusal be to many a source of profit.
