Abstract
Purpose of Study
This study is intended to determine:
The extent to which 50 dairy farmers of Hopkins County, Texas are engaged in the best way of producing dairy animals and dairy products at the least possible cost.
What influence the milk companies had on improved methods of receiving milk in the proper form for human consumption.
To determine whether the 50 dairies farmers studied are using the four factors of production to their best advantage in order to realize the maximum amount of income from their production at the least amount of cost.
To determine as to whether it is the most economical practice to use artificial insemination or to use the herd bulls.
