This special issue contains selected papers from talks presented at the International Conference on Emerging Frontiers in Mathematical and Computational Sciences (EFMCS-2024). This conference was held from October 24-26, 2024 at North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU), Shillong, India. The aim of the conference (EFMCS-2024) was to promote mathematical research and to focus on the recent advances in Higher Mathematics, Engineering Mathematics, Mathematical Sciences, Mathematical Modelling, Environmental Modelling, Nano-Science, Technology, etc. The conference aimed to provide an ideal platform for young researchers to interact with senior scientists, exchange their views and ideas, and initiate possible scientific collaboration in different domains. The program included the participation of renowned keynote speakers, oral presentations, poster sessions related to the topics dealt with in the Scientific Program, and social events.
