Abstract
The study reported hare, was a survey of the self-evaluation of college experiences of 125 of the students who were enrolled in the School of Home Economics at Prairie view A & M College for the school year 1953-54. It constitutes one part of a total plan to appraise all aspects of the college program. The data gathering devise employed was a detailed questionnaire suggested by Lehman2 for a study similar to the present one. This evaluative instrument was developed and tested in the School of Home Economies at Ohio State university and four other Ohio Collages. Most items in the booklet were duplicated for the present study. A few minor changes were made, so that the questions would more nearly conform to the goals of the Prairie View School of Home Economics.
