Abstract
The objective of the study was to analyze some of the factors relating to "Why 4-H Adult Leadership Did and Did Not Function in Some Clubs in Miller County, Arkansas." There is a general opinion, however, that adult leadership will function where there is a desire to assume responsibilities.
In order to find some solutions to the problems, the writer sought answers to the following questions: 1. What methods are used in organizing the 4-H Club? 2. What are the causes of irregular attendance? 3. What size 4-H Club is most effective in assuming leadership? What quality of leadership is most desired? 5. To what extent are adult leaders used in the 4-H Club organization? 6. What are the main weaknesses in adult leadership? 7. How can the results of adult leadership be measured?
