Abstract
The purpose of this study has been to develop a suggested program of pupil personnel accounting practices and procedures suitable for use in Dunbar High School, Mineral Wells, Texas. To this effect, the problem has necessarily involved the study of (1) the historical development of pupil personnel accounting, (2) present trends of development, and (3) information regarding accounting practices and procedures in a select group of schools.
This study has been confined to an analysis of data on (1) the historical development of pupil personnel accounting, (2) informational questionnaires distributed among fifteen schools with varied enrollments, and (3) the generally accepted pupil personnel accounting practices.
