Abstract
In evaluating the George W. Carver School an agreement was made between the principal and the writer that the evaluation was to be an impartial and thorough study of data pertaining to the school system and that the writer was to make such recommendations as the facts might justify concerning the improvement that should be made.
This evaluation represents the combined judgment of the writer and teachers in the evaluated school. The teachers have been uniformly courteous and helpful, and the writer desires to take this opportunity to thank them and the principal for these courtesies, ^he evaluation has to do with improvement in educational policy as well as in methods and techniques of instruction.
The recommendations are made with the belief that the children and youth of the community are entitled to the very best that can be provided. They are made also in the belief that efficiency in administration and in teaching technique, coupled with adequate buildings and equipment, will bring ample returns in dividends to the citizens of this community.
