Abstract
The purpose of this thesis is to acquaint the reader with the fact that the need of guidance in selecting one's life work is of paramount importance for the right choice makes not only for success but life-long happiness. Its purpose is also to collect data from well known authorities, individuals, and observation on the various methods that are and can be used in giving vocational guidance to pupils of the secondary school age in order that they might get acquainted with a large number of vocations, knowing their advantages, disadvantages and requirements before attempting to find an occupation suited to their aptitudes and abilities.
