Abstract
The purpose of this Thesis is to discuss some of the values and needs of community recreation in Bessmay, Texas Jasper County. 1. Due to the kind of labor the people are engaged in, the crowded streets and the number of undesirable places at which they spend their leisure time. 2. To point out some of the crimes that have been committed because of the lack of recreation facilities. 3. To encourage an foster the play and recreation movement in Bessmay by choosing activities that will meet the need and interest of the group so that the group will be benifitted Socially, mentally and physically. So that the community will be a desirable place in which to live.
