Abstract
This study purports to set up a standard for the improvement of health habits of the fifth and sixth grade pupils in the Center Point School in Bowie County, Texas.
Purpose of the Problem (1) To establish health habits and standards with emphasis on acts rather than on knowledge. (2) To give the child knowledge of the practical necessities of cleanliness and sanitation, food, fresh air, exercise, rest and of the causes of preventable diseases, with the means of checking them. (3) To serve as a basis for future improvement in health habits. (4) To serve as a standard for health education program in Bowie County.
