Abstract
Good health is undoubtedly the one element which contributes most to a satisfying and fruitful life. For each of us, it is relative, but in most cases, it can be improved and preserved. Like our freedom, w© simply accept good health and often even neglect or waste it. The first requisite in being able to work and produce constructively depends upon our health. It has been wisely said that health is everybody's business. We like to think of health as being the business of the community and the individual however, in order to achieve and to maintain a good health program, all factions within a given community must cooperate.
An effective health education program is directly dependent upon community understanding and support. For ten years, the writer has worked closely with the Choctaw County Health Department and other professional health workers of Choctaw County on various health programs throughout the county.
