Abstract
Through music young people grow in an appreciation of values, find wholesome means of self-expression which will meet their immediate needs and needs of the more remote future and develop qualities of good citizenship. These qualities are essential not only in successful singing but in one's entire life. These qualities include cooperation, self-control, organization and respect for the rights of others. The writer has dedicated this project to the accomplishment of these broader purposes of vocal music education.
