Abstract
Recognizing certain limitations which E. A. Kemp High School of Bryan, Texas has in the Health and Physical Education Department, the investigator began making closer observation of Kemp in contrast with other schools. One question which was utmost in mind was - Does the health and physical education program for girls consist of those courses and activities designed to help meet the physical and recreational needs of youth?
It was the purpose of this study (1) to compare the health and physical education department of E. A. Kemp High with requirements of the state (2) the relationship that the objectives in health and physical education has with general education, and (3) the comparison of health and physical facilities at Kemp with those of an ideal health and physical education program.
