Abstract
Health may be defined as what nature gives you plus what you give your self.1
The health program is divided into two parts; first, a constant effort to attain for your self the best standards of growth and development; second, an advance in your knowledge and understanding of present day problems through your study of community health.
The pupils of Stoneham Hill School will appreciate this health suggested program, because they are always willing to receive advice on the things that will better their conditions.
Our plea in Stoneham Hill School is for a broader conception of the functions and scope of educational health. The school instead of causing sickness and deformity must be made to preserve the child from all kinds of morbidity, repair his existent deformities, combat his unfavorable heredity and the bad conditions of his environment; in a word fortify his constitution and render him physically and mentally free from defects for the struggles of life.
