Abstract
The problem in this study is one of determining those changes that have affected accreditation standards in the State of Texas with special reference to health and physical education.
The primary purpose of this study will be to bring an increased understanding of the nature and importance of accreditation standards in health education and physical education and physical education in Texas Public Schools. As a result of the study, it is hoped that strengths and shortcomings will be revealed that might be of value to those who take part in future attempts to improve the program of health education and physical education through the use of minimum standards. In order to better improve the physical fitness quality of our youth.
The attempt is to limit the problem of changes made in accreditation of the health and physical education programs in the Texas Public Schools to meet the needs of the youth of Texas.
