Volume 1, Issue 1 (2017)
I am pleased to share with you the scholarly journal PURSUE, which provides student research scientists with an avenue to publish their original research articles. From psychology, sociology, and humanities to agriculture, biology, chemistry, engineering and beyond, this journal is designed to inform the community and impact the greater society. I congratulate our undergraduate writers who contributed to this edition of PURSUE, and I express my sincere gratitude to the faculty mentors who supported these students in their research journeys. As educators, it is our duty to give students opportunities to showcase their knowledge, and this journal does just that, by extending their comprehension beyond the classroom and out into the world. It is my wish that through PURSUE, each reader will be inspired to undertake a lifelong journey of exploration and discovery. Enjoy it to the fullest. Felecia M.
