Abstract
An investigation technique for the optimal control problems is discussed. The presence of unknown functions in the limits of integration is the key specific feature of such problems. The technique is applied to optimal control problems in vintage capital models of mathematical economics, namely, to the optimization in a model with a separate counter-terrorism sector.
