Abstract
Texas A&M University has set up a Marine Test Facility at the Texas A&M Campus at Galveston. The paper describes the facility and the initial test results from the first six months of testing. The water conditions, oxygen content, temperature, chloride ion concentration, calcium content, carbon dioxide and conductivity will be monitored to understand the variations that occur in coastal waters of the Gulf of Mexico.
