Description
This Suku fetish figure (as called in older literature) or power figure, is attributed to the Suku people. It is an implement that would generally be used by diviners in the healing and protection rituals they held.
Culture and Traditions
Suku, also called Basuku, are people of southwestern Congo (Kinshasa) and northwestern Angola. They speak the Bantu language of the Niger-Congo group of languages.
