Description
This facility was designed to house the animal science laboratories, the veterinarian hospital, and the animal husbandry classrooms. The Alfred N. Poindexter Veterinary Hospital is on the National Register of Historic Places (Date Issued: June 3, 1999). The legendary Dr. Alfred Nelson Poindexter served the university for nearly 60 years. Constructed 1925; Renovated 1972 (designed by PVAMU alumnus Louis E. Fry, class of 1922); Dedicated March 4, 2016.
